 Each contestant will
design one Floral Arrangement based on the Expo Theme, "TV
Time with NEPC." All participants will use only the materials
included in the Design Box.
The Design Box will
include one custom designed bouquet based on the theme, extra
greenery, one container, oasis, and various add-ons based on the
show’s theme.
One person will
design, with a maximum of 25 individual spots available.
Contestants will have one hour to complete their design from 4:00 to
5:00 pm prior to the opening of the show.
Contestants will
provide all their own tools. Each contestant will be provided a
workspace and the Design Box. Contestants can use as much, or as
little of the box contents as they wish.
Upon completion, the
contestants must move their own arrangements to the judging area.
The area will have a
pedestal for each arrangement. Each Designer will be assigned a
number for judging anonymity.
Judging will be based
on
• Technical Ability
• Visual Appearance
• Creativity
• Overall Design
Awards will be
presented for First, Second, and Third place, with a plaque to be
presented on the Design Stage at noon.
